Jennifer Kersey was born in Baltimore, Maryland and lived in Columbia throughout most of her life. She is the oldest of 3 siblings. Her sister, Heather, is a photographer and works at Disney World in her spare time. Her brother, Ricky, the youngest of the family, is a tri-athlete (baseball, basketball, and recently, football). Her parents, Sherri and Alan, are incredibly supportive of all three kids' ambitions.She started appearing in school shows at a very young age, officially caught "the bug" after watching the movie, "I'll Do Anything" at the age of 14 and has not stopped since.She has appeared in many independent films and a few PSAs and industrials. Her background, however, is in theater. She is an AEA performer, having performed in regional theatre as well as theme park shows. She obtained her AEA membership after touring the country as Laura in "Laura Ingalls Wilder." She most recently performed in a Canadian production making its US/NY debut, "Frankenstein," playing the duel roles of Agatha DeLacy and Justine Moritz. Also in the production were famed Craig Schulman and Philip Hernandez.Aside from acting, she also enjoys playing the flute (won many awards at the county and state level). She is a self-proclaimed "Phile" and loves the paranormal. She is also an avid animal lover (specifically cats and dogs) and babysits.She currently resides in New York City.
