Zoltan Barabas / Biography

zoli is a Swedish-born Canadian citizen of Hungarian descent. He served ten years in the Canadian Navy as a Navigation Officer before releasing to pursue artistic goals. zoli has amassed credits as an actor, producer, writer, director of film and theatre projects in Canada and Hungary. He followed his roots to Hungary in 1995, and continues to develop and create English-language productions in Hungary. August 1999 sees his directorial debut with 'Island, ' a timely story of the millenium, Y2K, armageddon, and a total eclipse of the sun. He is developing several English-language/European commercial 'art' films for production in Hungary.
