Yusry Kru / Biography

Yusry was born in Kuala Lumpur on 15th June 1973, Malaysia to Abdul Halim Kamal and Zarina Abdul Wahab Fenner. He their second child. Yusry went to Sri Petaling Primary School and later on went to Setapak Secondary School. He did his 'O' Levels in the UK and also his 'A' Levels in a UK college (Leytonstone Sixth Form College, Leytonstone). Yusry started out as a member of Malaysia's sibling boyband, KRU, with his two brothers, Norman and Edry, in 1992. In 1995 KRU starred in a movie AWAS! and later in 1996 starred in Cinta Metropolitan. While his brothers did not want to pursue careers in the movie industry, Yusry decided to continue acting. He acted in Gerak Khas the Movie II (2002) and stars in Mr. Cinderella (2002). Other than that, he is at the helm of KRU Motion Pictures, owned by the three brothers. He produces a variety of television programmes for the Malaysian telvision channels.
