Damon Lee recently announced the formation of his company Deacon Entertainment. Deacon Entertainment has a first look deal with Focus Feature and Universal Pictures. Lee is currently developing Ralph at Universal with Imagine as wells as Holidaze at Focus Feature.Lee is also actively developing Whitebread with Universal Entertainment at New Line and Lost Boys with Outlaw Productions at Paramount with Brad Silberling attached to direct.Most recently Lee produced the short film One Flight Stand, about a relationship that occurs between two strangers on a plane. OFS was written and directed by Saladin Patterson and stars Aisha Tyler(Talk Soup, Friends) and Marc Blucas(First Daughter, Alamo, Buffy). The short premieres on HBO in January.Prior to forming Deacon Entertainment, Damon was President of Urban Entertainment where he produced the critically acclaimed comedy Undercover Brother, starring Eddie Griffin, Dave Chappelle and Denise Richards, written by John Ridley and directed by Malcolm Lee.A graduate of the Stark Program at USC, Lee began his entertainment career as a production assistant on John Singleton's controversial film, Higher Learning. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University and was a member of Teach for America.
