Tim Oliehoek (1979) was admitted to the Dutch Film and Television Academy when he was 18, after shooting his first action movie of 2,5 hours, Buy Or Die. This had generated a lot of media attention. In 2002, The Champ was nominated for a Student Academy Award for best Foreign Film. Since his graduation he has been directing various commercials and short films.In 2005 Tim directed his feature debut Vet Hard (English title Too Fat Too Furious), which was a great success in cinema and on DVD. After that he directed 12 episodes of the TV series Shouf Shouf, based on the film Shouf Shouf Habibi! (2004).
