Jordi Savall / Biography

Jordi started his musical education in the school choir of Igualada. He then studied cello att the Barcelona Conservatory of Music, after wich he bagan his training in ancient music at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland, where he has been a teacher since 1973. During the last twenty years or so he has also performed as a concert performer and director.
