Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. His mother is South African born of British heritage, father is Greek. He moved to the USA and the University of West Alabama on an international tennis scholarship from Cape Technical College in 1990. Played two years for both the UWA tennis and football teams. Theater Major. After favorable reviews in several university plays, community and regional theater moved to New York. He has portrayed everything from Ecuadorian photographer Bolivar Arellano (110 Stories-Public Theater, New York), Serbian Muslim Fundamentalist Milan Zergin (Law & Order SVU), Italian American mob hit man Phil Bartoli (Law & Order Criminal Intent), Greek restaurant proprietor Yanni (Pulse), American WW II Sergeant Warner (The Coldest Winter) to more light comedic characters like 'Antonio' on Conan O' Brien and 'Dan Schaffner'on Comedy Central's Jim Breuer Show. Also had his stage play 'Venom' nominated for an award by the Samuel French Love Creek Festival which honors one act plays in Off Broadway venues. His screenplay,'White Gold' has won awards at numerous festivals and competitions. Is an active USTA member with a 5.0 USTA rating. Was recently named as #19 on Elle Magazine's HOT 40 list.
