Jack Sheldon is the son of Jen Loven (1909-1989), who taught many of the rich and famous Hollywood entertainment elite and their children to swim at her famous Jen Loven Swim School in Hollywood. Jack was known mostly for his sidekick status on the Merv Griffin Show of the '70s. Jack has a large family, with two sons Kevin and John, and daughters Julie and Jesse. John, a musician himself, plays drums, and attended military college prep school at the prestigious Army & Navy Academy in Carlsbad, Calif. Jack's son John also acted with his father in the comedy Freaky Friday, as one of the trouble-making kids who loved to harass Jodi Foster. Jack is still active playing the jazz clubs. You can catch him most often at the Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood. He's also been recently playing with George Segal, and Conrad Janis, two more famous Actor/Jazz Musicians. Jack still calls the Hollywood Hills his home, as he has for many years.
