Art Shell / Biography
An offensive tackle with the Oakland & Los Angeles Raiders from 1968 to 1982, he was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989. In 1989 he became the first African-American head coach of the modern NFL era. He won 54 games and lost 38 as head coach.
