Heather Blair was born on Thursday, 14 August, 1980 in Tucson, Arizona, USA to Janet Blair and Dr. David Edens, PhD. Her father was a professor of Botany and Ecology at West Virginia State University (and Marshall University) and is now retired. Heather's mother was an educator, as well. She has a sister named Debra Lynn (Debbie). She also has a nephew, David Shields, and a niece, Kelli McClanahan. Heather started out in showbiz at the age of fifteen by being asked to be in a short film called Weedkiller (1995), which was being filmed in downtown Tucson. Until then, she had acted extensively in local and school theaters and was a "lovely assistant" to a magician. Heather filmed another short, this time with a larger part, in Rick Gutierrez's 2002 film Affection (2002). Heather made her independent film debut in a segment of Tessa Blake and Ian Williams 2003 film The Pink House (2003). In between these films, she worked on well over a dozen plays and musicals. Heather is currently (as of June 2005) working with friend Jason Stewart on a yet-untitled horror film, which she is writing and he is directing.
