Fareed Abdelhak was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Prior to moving out to the West Coast of the Vancouver, B.C. area, he completed approximately two and half years of Professional Actors' Training in Edmonton. In May 1998, Fareed completed writing his screenplay, "Promise." While still maintaining his Edmonton residency, Fareed established a new one in the Vancouver Area in August 1998. After being a part of the first class to complete the Professional Film Studies Program at Capilano College, Fareed immediately began working in the Television/Film Industry. In January 2000, Fareed completed writing his second feature length screenplay, "Desirable Possession." In June 2000, he signed on with Lissa Lloyd at Lloyd Talent Management. On May 23, 2001, Fareed Abdelhak Productions Inc. was officially born. With over 5 years of actors' training between Edmonton and Vancouver, Fareed is still signed on with Lloyd Talent and continues to work in the B.C. Television/Film Industry.
