Darrell is the originator of Fells Point, a semi-autobiographical depiction of a period in his life. He co-wrote the script, led in the assembly of the cast and crew, will co-produce and act in the feature film, and is spearheading the fund-raising efforts.Darrell has always had an interest and strong passion for the arts. He started acting in 1999 and studied numerous acting techniques under Charles Weldon at the Negro Ensemble and the legendary Jeff Corey who trained Jack Nicholson. Darrell has received on-camera technique training at the Stella Adler Studio in New York City where Robert Deniro and Marlon Brando started their careers.Darrell's first film credits as an actor and producer was a short film called "Highs & Lows" that he also executive produced with Justin Bartha, who starred in "Gigli" with Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck and "National Treasure" with Nicolas Cage. He then landed a lead role for The Potomac Theater Company's production "Chain Links" in Washington, DC which ran for several months. He also did a few TV guest featured roles on "Jag" & "King of Queens". Darrell is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and has a bright film career ahead of him because he loves what he does. Darrell knows that Fells Point will inspire others to rise above their current set of circumstances. He continues to study while traveling in his journey.
