Geraldine Smith, a native New Yorker, was discovered by Paul Morrissey and Andy Warhol at the age of 16 - in Max's Kansas City. After starring opposite Joe Dallesandro in Flesh (1968), she turned down the film Trash, disapproving of the title. A wonderful character actress, who has been under-used commercially - she now studies psychology and is currently an alcohol and substance abuse counselor. A former Warhol Superstar, Geri considers herself to be a Warhol Survivor. Busy with studies, she is now working on a memoir in screenplay form, while acting occasionally.
