Although a professional actress only two short years Nikki SooHoo is making a name for herself in Hollywood as an actress to keep an eye on. In her latest film, Stick It, Nikki is introduced to the world as a young actress with broad audience appeal.Nikki began her performance career in dance. Her dance training, skills, and irresistible spirit opened doors for Nikki, leading to commercial work for Bratz Dolls, and stage work in the musical classic West Side Story. Nikki's debut film role came in Fields of Mudan, a short film exposing human trafficking in America.Working with Addison Witt of Witt Management, Nikki quickly went on to land two national commercials and guest roles on Phil of the Future, Drake and Josh, and The War at Home. She also found time to land roles in three TV pilots: K-Pow; East of Normal, West of Weird, and Testing Bob. In landing Stick It, her first studio feature, Nikki firmly establishes herself as a young actress of drive, training, and perseverance. Nikki persevered through the rigors of four auditions, a detailed workout program, coaching from the film's expert gymnastic coaches, and an exhaustive national search to land the role of Wei Wei, a young gymnast in the film.
