Also, Lucio Fulci's horror classic "The Beyond" (aka E tu vivrai nel terrore - L'aldilà (1981) released theatrically and on DVD by Grindhouse and Quentin Tarantino's Rolling Thunder. They recently restored and released director Ruggero Deodato's 1979 masterpiece, Cannibal Holocaust (1980).

Friend Quentin Tarantino used Stallone's trademark Grindhouse Releasing "feature presentation" logo before the opening credits of Kill Bill: Vol 1. Previously they released Lucio Fulci's "The Beyond" together 5 years earlier.
Turned down the role of Robert in Rocky VI (2006) due to prior obligations with Grindhouse Releasing.
Has Stanley Kubrick's legendary Carl Zeiss/NASA 50mm lens built for the candlelight scenes in Barry Lyndon (1975) in which no artificial lighting was used.
Vincent Gallo sold him The Brown Bunny (2003) camera package because it was organized so precisely no one could scratch it, touch it, or break it up. It had to be out of his life. Gallo often claims Stallone is one of his favorite people in the world and is relieved the camera package went to his hero.
