Trine Stårup Madsen grew up in Egtved and started acting in Kolding at the age of 12. She acted at the Dronning Dorothea Teater in Kolding for several years until finishing high school. She played leading roles in several controversial short movies. She got a yoga teacher education studying with Sivananda yoga in India and later in Canada, started teaching in Denmark, and New York, while appearing as a model in the leading yoga magazines. She studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. She did her first full length feature film, playing the leading lady, Jen Conalitz, in Stephen A. Vasquez independent feature "A Wizzo's tale" in New York City the summer of 2005 while still in acting school. She now lives in Copenhagen.
