Aya Tanimura / Biography

Aya Tanimura was born in Hong Kong to her Japanese father Yorio Tanimura and her Australian mother Allison Tanimura. Having a father as a diplomat meant that she was constantly on the move as a child. She has traveled the world, and has lived in such countries as Switzerland, Japan, Australia and Hong Kong. She currently resides in Los Angeles, where she continues to write, produce and direct work that brings important issues to light for a larger audience.
