Drummer for the rock group Queen
He sang lead vocals on Queen's tribute song to Freddie "No-One but you (Only the Good Die Young)".
Coincidentally, his band Queen, performed at Live Aid, along with the rock group Duran Duran, who's drummer is also named Roger Taylor.
Has a massive collection of classic automobiles, which is where his Queen song "I'm In Love With My Car" got its idea from.

Released four solo albums over the years. In 1981, there was "Fun in Space", following 1984's "Strange Frontier", containing covers from Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan. Ten years later, after Freddie's death, he made "Happiness", a very strong album. His most recent album, "Electric Fire", was released in 1998.
