Rune Temte was born in the outskirts of Oslo. He has a Diploma in Business Studies from The School of Forign Trade in London and a degree in economics from BI-Drammen in Norway. Before turning to acting he played professional soccer for Stromgodseth, were he earned the titel; Player of the year in 1988. He is trained at the Drama Studio London (1993/94). He has his own theater company based in Oslo; The Slaves of love Theater Company. Their productions include the 1999 success "On The Ball", which he wrote and starred in. His theater work includes playing Prince Hamlet & Obreon. He has toured in Scandinavia, Italy and Estland. His film and TV work includes working with directors like Harald Zwart, Nils Gaup and Bob Altman.
