"The Symbol of Excellence" is the affectionate term to describe Mark Terry by his friends. Orginally from Florida and at one time was renowned as the most active actor/producer in the Florida film industry. Mark started his film career in 1996 with a short he directed called Fists of Hope. He went on to do a few other shorts until he started attending college at St. Leo University. At St. Leo Mark managed to juggle his acting schedule while playing for the Monarch's basketball team. During 1999 a season ending knee injury left Mark not much left to do while he was in school. He decided to involve himself with theatre where he got the chance to act in nine plays in a three and a half years span. His roles ranged from supporting to leads, and he even got the chance to play Norman Bates on stage. In 2001, Mark met director, Vito Trabucco the two created their own production company called, Other Side Cinema. During the fall of 2002 Mark produced and acted in the now cult hit "B-Movie: The Shooting of Farmhouse Massacre." During the same year he landed national commercials as the movie received national attention. Other Side Cinema since 2002 created two gritty short films. The first was in early 2003 was "Homeland Security" and in late 2003 the award winning Vietnam short film "Night Demons." In both films Mark had the chance to act and produce again. Other Side Cinema has currently relocated to Anaheim, CA. Where Mark is working on future projects.
