Frances Uku is a newly-minted graduate of Harvard University's American Repertory Theatre Institute, from which she recently received her MFA in Acting.Directors with whom she has worked and studied include Scott Zigler and Robert Bella of the Atlantic Theatre Company, Robert Woodruff and Marcus Stern of the American Repertory Theatre, film director Sam Weisman, and two-time Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Barbara Kopple. New York stages on which she has worked include the Ensemble Studio Theatre, 45 Bleecker/The Culture Project, the Broken Watch Theatre Company and the Wow Café Theatre.While Frances still retains her ties to New York City, she feels lucky to also call Los Angeles home. She is a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild and Actors' Equity Association.
