Ian was born in Glendale, California, but moved to Wales at the age of six. This gives him the advantage of having Dual Nationality. His first feature film appearance was in Black Hawk Down (2001), directed by Ridley Scott, Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer where Ian plays the role of 'Specialist John Waddell'. The next feature on the cards is the independent movie _Extreme Dating (2002)_ written by Jeff Schectman with Marc Roberts producing and Lorena David directing. Ian plays one of the central characters 'Packer' and we await release dates. Ian's other credits include NCS Manhunt with David Suchet for the BBC and "Band of Brothers" (2001) (mini) the recent BBC/HBO project. He has also been seen in BBC's Casualty as a guest lead role.Ian trained at the National Youth Music Theatre and the Royal Academy of Music and also has some excellent UK theatre credits including 'Godspell' at the Chichester Festival Theatre, 'She Stoops To Conquer' for the National Youth Music Theatre.
