Abraham Maurice Boyd grew up from a Eurasian background. His father William Phillip Boyd, is of British, Scottish and Dutch descent. His mother, Francisca Josephine Wiggers, is of Dutch, Indonesian and Chinese heritage.Being the youngest sibling, he and his brothers were born in different countries. New Guinneau, Netherlands and the United States. All of his family are talented singers and musicians. His father played ten instruments and his mother sang regularly with the local church choir. Abraham and his brothers would perform at local clubs and functions in their hometown.After moving to Hong Kong, he felt a need to reach closer to his heritage. He still has that dream to someday discover his great great grandfather's adventurer as a tea & coffee plantation owner in Indonesia. "Boyds Coffee"!After relocating with his corporate job, he discovered a local community theater in Hong Kong, through a friend. There he signed up with the theater and auditioned for his role as a young doctor for the pultizer prize winning play "Wit" by Margaret Edson. He did not get that part but instead was given five character roles. He was given the opportunity to perform the tour with "Wit" in Beijing, China and Hanoi Vietnam. After "Wit" ended its performance in Hong Kong, he was discovered by the producer and director of another production that began immediately. Abraham read and auditioned for the part of a David Mamet play. He got the part and the show was a huge success. He was discovered by an agent on the last night of the play, and immediately was signed and now is currently in film production as a mercenary.
