She played Fantine in Les Miserables on Broadway from 1991-1992, but she is more notably known for playing Marguerite in the second Broadway version of The Scarlet Pimpernel. She replaced original cast member Christine Andreas for the role of Marguerite in The Scarlet Pimpernel, and played opposite Rex Smith and Douglas Sills. Acting coach was Suzanne Shepherd from The Sopranos Drama Desk Award Winner (NY) 1996 Best Featured Actress in a Broadway Musical for originating the role of Norma Cassidy in Victor/Victoria She is a noted animal rights activist, and has two cats: Romeo and Gigi. One of the few actresses that has received rave reviews from notoriously picky New York critic John Simon, (often referred to as "the butcher of Broadway"). Original choice of stage name was "Rachel Loring". Just put out her first solo album, "Let's Fall in Love".
