Father of actress Natasha Lyonne (b. 1979) and brother Adam Lyonne (b. 1972). Divorced from their mother.
Lived with his wife and children in Israel, when Natasha filmed A Man Called Sarge (1990), then remained there after his divorce, while his family moved back to New York.
