Dan Burkarth / Biography

Dan Burkarth was born in Dallas, Texas in 1963. He received his B.A from Hunter College in NYC and M.A. from the University of Arkansas. In the late 1980s he produced and hosted the highly successful downtown talk-variety show One + One for Manhattan Cable. Guests included composer Stephen Bray (Broadway's The Color Purple) and his film director brother Kevin Bray (Walking Tall). It was in this film where Dan got beat up in the casino by The Rock. Dan's other television appearances include: Telemundo's "La Ley del Silencio," PBS's "Wishbone" and CBS's "Walker, Texas Ranger".
