Valentina Castellani was born in Florence, Italy, where her family owns since the 1800 an Opera House Theatre, the "Teatro Verdi". Growing up behind the stage, watching operas, plays and ballets, obviously had a strong influence on her. She graduated from College, majoring in Arts and painting. She started her acting career, studying at the Academy Theatre in Florence under the guidance of the great Vittorio Gassman. Mr. Gassman directed her in several plays from both Italian and Greek classic repertoire. She moved to Paris in 1993, where she studied at the "Ecole du cinema Francaise", it was in Paris that she had her real debut in the motion picture industry. ..." I was living in a little hooker's hotel in order to pay for my acting school and be able to survive in Paris. Paris taught me everything I needed to know about life, passion and the arts.". Since then, Valentina has been working in several international productions: TV series, Movies and Theatre, in Italy, France and the United States. She now resides in Los Angeles, with her daughter Sofia-Michelle. She loves to draw and paint.
