Eddie Deirmenjian was born Edward Amadeo Deirmenjian to Ronald Deirmenjian and Patricia Gomez on June 30, 1984. He grew up in New Jersey, and in 1998, moved to Nevada.During his childhood, he drew comics and wrote short stories, and in 1998, he wrote his first short film. Throughout his high school years, he wrote, directed, and acted in numerous original productions. Also, during this time, he met Chris Hawkins, Max Lardent, Tim "Rosey" Rosenberger, and Jonathan Suhadolnik.After high school, he matriculated in UNLV's film program, where he studied under such individuals as Sean Clark, Michel Hugo, and David Schmoeller. In 2004, he began working with the Las Vegas based production company, Vision Dynamics Entertainment. That same year, he and his high school cohorts founded The Group Collectively.His influences include Charles Chaplin, Joseph Heller, Charlie Kaufman, Chuck Palahniuk, "The Kids in the Hall" (1988), "Mr. Show with Bob and David" (1995), and "Upright Citizens Brigade" (1998).
