Mårten Ekman / Biography

Born in 1973. Started working as a runner on the soap opera _"Tre kronor" (1994)- . Got the job as an underscore composer for the same show in 1995. Did almost the same thing with the next production "Skilda världar" (1996). Did his first production with his father, well known swedish director Mikael Ekman, on the smash hit christmas calender _"Pelle Svanslös" (1997) (mini)_ . Works in his studio mostly as a composer for TV and film, but also writes and produces pop music.He married Susann Ekman Åkesdotter 2000, who he met on Midsummers Eve 1997. Together they have a doughter Mira (1998) and a son Elliot (2000). He lives together with his family in a suburb just outside of Stockholm.
