K. Marc Hoffman / Biography

Marc Hoffman was born in Salisbury, North Carolina. He attained a BM in composition from the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and did additional study in film scoring at the Dartington International School of Music in Devon, England. His teachers have included David Ott, Sherwood Shaffer, Leo Arnaud, and John Corigiliano. Also a recording artist and performer, Marc recently completed a concert tour in the UK. He works freelance as a composer of TV, radio, and film music and also does singing and voice-over work.
