Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, Humeyra has been a major recording artist there for the last 30 years. She's also known as a very accomplished actress and has done many films, and currently performs for the Metropolitan Theater Company in Istanbul. She has been in the U.S. for almost a year now, living in California.
